Oh boy, we’re back here again…

A lot has changed in my life since I last wrote a blog post. I had a brief stint with blogging in the early 2010s when two of my best friends and I launched a blog together to share thoughts about fashion, art, and pop culture with each other (and the world, I guess) but that is not my primary association with past brushes with blogging fame. Instead it is my infamous MySpace blog that comes to mind when I think of the medium.

To be clear- this blog is infamous only in my mind, likely no one else’s, though it did have a pretty large audience, especially considering the platform. I think my friends and internet colleagues genuinely enjoyed my posts on that famed MySpace blog, and I loved writing for it. However, looking back- it was… to put it in the simplest of terms- cringe AF.

Though, with even more distance from that time in my life, the cringe-y-ness has begun to fade into a surprisingly lovely shade of nostalgia. I actually printed out every single post and pasted them into a fabric diary-style book that I had picked up at Barnes and Noble that was attached to a 24-hr Starbucks. How apropos.

Now, in this first post (of many?) I launch myself back into the world of sharing a bit more online than I ever would in person and must accept that you are reading this. I am very cool now and not cringe in the slightest.
