It’s no secret that I have a long-time obsession with Boden that continues strong today but I can also say with confidence that I love their items EVEN MORE today than I ever have. They have legitimately stepped up their quality in many areas while maintaining design and service. Their pieces have held up fabulously over time for me and I’m thrilled to see that their new collection includes even more embellishments, high quality fabrics, and interesting detailing.

I first received the Boden catalog back in college (maybe in 08 or 09?) when I was looking for more unique places to shop and I was instantly hooked. At that time, however, the price points were extremely out of my usual range so I just browsed the catalog and dreamed of how cool I would look in their bold and retro styles.

Fast forward a few years later and I was running an online boutique as well as flipping items from thrift stores on eBay. On occasion I would find a Boden piece and would always pick them up to resell because they never needed any repairs and looked amazing. Love that quality.

Now that I am expecting I have fallen in love with their baby items as well (I mean - just look at them!) I often mention Boden on YouTube and have done several reviews/hauls and frequently get the comment that you have also been admiring from afar but never tried them. Well, perhaps today is the day! They are one of the easiest brands for me to recommend because you can get a great item new or second hand and the fit tends to be very consistent and modern. Generally pieces fit me true to size but some styles can run a bit large (which is nicer if you’re open to tailoring anyway.) If you want a piece that looks playful, fun, and unique without reading as cheap or costume-y, Boden is your destination!
